All About Deshedding Tools

Are you sick of trying to find ways to keep on top of your dog shedding?

Is it a constant struggle for you and your dog?

If the answer to those questions is yes, fear not as we are here to help you learn about deshedding tools and recommend some of the best we have to offer, to help you get started today.

What is deshedding?

Deshedding is the method of removing the hair from your dog's undercoat. Deshedding requires the use of specific tools and it is not something you can do using your normal grooming brushes and tools.

Types of deshedding tools

As with most things, there are various options and types of tools that you can use to help deshed your dog.

A double-sided tool

Our fabulous coat king double-sided will help you. This is the ultimate de-shedding tool and is one of our favourites. This tool is specifically designed to make deshedding your thick-coated dog much easier. The teeth on the double-sided end are the perfect balance between being thin yet sturdy enough to move effortlessly through the double-coated fur. We would recommend this as a great starting point.
