Can I use wet pet food in the Groomarts Automatic Feeder?

Our Auto Pet Feeder is only intended for use with dry pet food and smaller kibble that is used for cats. Wet food would not work with the intelligent hopper system.

If I have more than one pet can I use this feeder?

We would recommend that there is only one animal eating from each feeder, this is to ensure you can monitor what they have eaten and prevent any accidents from jealously over food.

Is the Automatic Dog Feeder battery operated or plugged in?

The Groomarts Pet Feeder comes with a 48 hour rechargeable battery along with a USB plug that is used to recharge or mains power the device.

Won't my dog just chew the auto feeder until he breaks it and gets the food?

This product has been specifically designed to minimise the risk of any destructive food cravings. The design limits the amount of grip any dog can get, also the secure food hopper has been through 500 rounds of aggressive testing before it breaks. WE haven;'t heard of a dog getting into the food or damaging the product beyond workable condition yet.

How does the voice recording function work?

You record 4 custom clips that you can match with any of the 4 programmable feeding slots per day. This recording is a maximum of 10 seconds long and is picked up by a mic in the 'mouth' of the feeder. You can then play it back to make sure you are happy. And then you are done. Our studies have shown that dogs are 40% less anxious when alone when using the autofeeder.

My dog is scared of it, what should I do?

We suggest persevering and tempting then with treats for a few days, anything new can be a bit scary! But if your pet really doesn't get on with the device then you can return the product for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
